We are a contemporary, caring, vibrant, powerful growing Church.
This statement encapsulates what C3 Monash is all about, but churches don't function successfully just because they have a written vision statement. The vision must communicate positive action steps, which practically achieve what the vision promotes.
The vision of the church is the driving force behind everything the church is and does. We believe it is a mandate given to us by God and a destiny placed before us to achieve. It is our belief that the vision will be achieved through the development of individuals.
The teaching and training in the church focuses on four main areas in peoples lives, in order to foster personal growth and development in those areas and as a result strengthen and build the community of the church.
These four areas are:
- Building relationship with God through prayer, Bible study and worship.
- The development of caring relationships and support groups.
- The identification and development of ministry gifts.
- Communicating the joy of knowing Christ to others.
It is our conviction that a commitment to assisting people grow in these areas of their life will automatically see the vision of the church community come to fruition. There are a wide range of constantly changing and developing programmes and activities, as well as opportunities to serve within the life of the church, that demonstrate that commitment.
